Officers from the Immigration Department, Police and Labour Department have arrested 24 illegal workers and two people suspected of employing them, in anti-illegal work crackdowns yesterday.
They raided eight locations citywide, including restaurants, a foot reflexology centre, warehouses, and recycling plants.
Thirteen men and 11 women, aged 25 to 51, were arrested for illegal work offences. Two men, aged 26 and 47, believed to be their employers, were also arrested.
