Black rain alert as storm causes damage across Hong Kong

A freak downpour caused widespread damage across Hong Kong in the first black rainstorm alert of the year. Hailstones the size of golf balls hammered parts of Kowloon and the New Territories, cracking the glass canopies of the Festival Walk mall in Kowloon Tong, and causing widespread flooding. The Monetary Authority has issued an alert on two fraudulent websites.   The fake sites, http://www.cntv.cn.com/ and http://bdwm.info/, look similar to the authority’s official site, which is http://www.hkma.gov.hk.   The authority clarified it has no connection with the sites, and urged people to contact Police for enquiries.
