Milan, here I come – Hong Kong Picture

Milan, here I come

ING is launching their new brand positioning, “World, here I come”, in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. As part of the campaign, ING created a series of stunning posters called ‘cities in a click’, offering travellers useful insights to key travel destinations, before they step on to the plane.

Ten local artists from each of the ten cites were commissioned to create an illustration that reflects their city. Each one is packed with the latest insightful suggestions and tips from Lonely Planet. The posters are specifically designed so travellers can take a digital photograph of each city illustration, zoom in, and explore the content in more detail.

Each artist was selected for their unique style. Like Supersonic, a Shanghai based designer with in-depth local knowledge of Chinese culture. Or Parisian designer Alexandre Godreau, who’s part of the 100 designers to follow on Behance. Kristopher Ho from Hong Kong is widely known for his intricate detail, while London’s Charlie Davis has featured in Illustration Served.

You can enjoy the entire ‘cities in a click’ collection on the Flickr account of ING Group or look out for the real thing at Schiphol Airport from mid-January 2015.
