Burglars hit three more flats in Hong Kong, bringing number of break-ins to nine in 48 hours

Burglars on Monday broke into three flats in a Causeway Bay building covered with bamboo scaffolding, stealing a safe with about HK$50,000 cash (US$6,377) and bringing the number of residential break-ins to nine in 48 hours.
Altogether, occupants of the nine flats lost millions in cash, jewellery and valuables, and police are investigating if a syndicate is behind the crimes.
