Officers with shields scoured a Hong Kong public housing estate on Wednesday for a knife-wielding robber who stole jewellery and cash from a woman.
Dozens of officers, along with a search dog, swept Lai Tat House on On Tat Estate, Sau Mau Ping. The force believed the culprit was hiding in the building.
Officers were also guarding the block’s entrances and studying CCTV footage to look for suspicious people. By 6pm the man had not been found.
