Hong Kong is being threatened with what could be the strongest storm to ever hit the city since records began 50 years ago. Super Typhoon Mangkhut is forecast to come within 80km of the city on Sunday, September 16. While meteorologists say it’s too early to predict if Hong Kong will take a direct hit, people in the city are taking no chances and preparing for the worst.

  2. I live there and I didn’t know until now.I’m scared because I used to live in the US before a lot of hurricanes came there and I moved to Hong Kong to study. (My parents are Chinese) I’m not sure what level it will be but I was in a level 10 typhoon this summer. It wasn’t that bad and it stopped eventually. And btw I DIDNT USE A TRANSLATOR MY ENGLISH IS BETTER THEN MY 中文(Chinese),SO DONT HATE.
