Chinese dissident author Ma Jian’s talks at Hong Kong’s Tai Kwun arts centre cancelled

A Chinese dissident author’s public appearances at a Hong Kong arts venue were cancelled days after he revealed that several publishers in the city had refused to print the Chinese version of his latest novel, which is critical of the mainland and its leadership.
